Kensington was set up to fulfil a need for hardwood joinery products that met specifiers requirements for quality and ingenuity but with a forward thinking and knowledgeable team.

Since its inception, the business has grown to be able to provide customers with high volume and high pressure projects meeting challenging contractor needs as well as providing bespoke design and build of one off pieces and intricate work.

In early 2019, Kensington acquired some of the assets of Longden Doors, which enabled to group to continue to build on its hardwood expertise and integrate a highly specified hardwood door product. Now able to serve high application environments for both contractors and end users alike.

Trading out of a site in Newton Aycliffe, the business is part of the UK Performance Doorsets group.
